Pork producers are inspecting their own products. Whistleblowers say that makes the meat you eat less safe. We’ve covered this in the past: the Trump administration is letting pork producers use company workers to do inspection jobs that used to belong to USDA inspectors. Now, a handful of those inspectors are blowing the whistle, saying that meat from self-inspection factories leaves consumers vulnerable.
