Democratic Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is tied with Republican Eric Greitens in a poll the state’s gubernatorial race from Monmouth University.

This latest poll shows a tightening in the Missouri gubernatorial race, which had previously been in the Democrat’s favor.

The two gubernatorial candidates were tied at 46 percent, with Libertarian candidate Cisse Spragins polling at 2 percent.

When Monmouth polled the state’s gubernatorial race early this month, Koster was ahead by three points, a tightening since Koster led by 11 points in Monmouth’s August poll.

The Monmouth University poll was conducted via live telephone interview from Oct. 28-31 among 405 likely Missouri voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the Missouri gubernatorial election shows a tossup, with Koster leading Greitens, 45.9 to 45.6.
