Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) said last night that he thinks health care reform is not dead yet, and that he is not alone.
“People like Michele Bachmann, and whoever talks to her from the mothership, think its still alive” too, he said.
Weiner was on Rachel Maddow’s show, and pointed out that the newly released federal budget assumes savings over the next 10 years from health care reform.
This, he said, shows that “the president’s number crunchers think it’s alive, the people of New Hampshire think it’s alive, people like Michele Bachmann, and whoever talks to her from the mothership, think its still alive.”
“The American people still want this thing to continue and they’re frustrated,” said Weiner.
