Rush Limbaugh made his much-anticipated guest turn on Family Guy tonight. As the saying goes, everything is better when set to music.
Here’s the synopsis. As previously revealed, when Brian learns that Rush Limbaugh is going to be at the Quahog Mall for a book-signing he decides to go down there and give him a piece of his left-wing mind. But when ninja Rush comes to Brian’s rescue after he is set upon by bullies Brian is swiftly won over to the GOP and asks Rush to dinner. And with that, cue the music.
“To quote a famous troublemaker,” sings Brian, “I have a dream…of a Republican town, where men to the right of the aisle don’t back down.” It’s a place, croons Rush, where “everyone prays to a Republican God” and there a no Republican Muslims (“too many tall buildings”).
