President Trump delighted in Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) mounting controversies during a rally in El Paso, Texas on Monday evening and even took at dig at Northam for thinking it might be appropriate to show reporters his moonwalk during a press conference.
“So in Virginia, the governor — he has gotten a little publicity lately. I like him. He keeps us out of the paper. I like him. I’d like to find more guys like this one,” he said, to cheers at the rally. “He almost moonwalked! His wife stopped him, ‘Darling, darling, it would be inappropriate.’ I want to see someone try and imitate the moonwalk and Michael Jackson. This would not have been a good scene. His wife saved him. ‘Darling, this would be inappropriate.’ I think she was right.”
