President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he doesn’t want special counsel Robert Mueller to testify in front of Congress about his sweeping Russia probe.

In a Twitter rant, Trump accused Democrats of “looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion.”

“Bob Mueller should not testify,” Trump tweeted. “No redos for the Dems!”

The House Judiciary Committee has been in talks with Mueller to schedule a hearing on his findings in the Russia and obstruction investigations.

Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) said on “Fox News Sunday” that the committee had set a “tentative” date of May 15, but he later clarified via Twitter that Mueller had not agreed to a date yet.

Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had flatly refused to ask Mueller to testify at first, then pivoted slightly on Friday with a letter inviting the special counsel to speak if he felt Attorney General Bill Barr had misrepresented their phone call discussing Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report.
