In case you were worried that last night’s New York Gubernatorial debate, in which Jimmy McMillan from The Rent’s Too Damn High party stole the midterm freak award right out from under Carl Paladino‘s feet could not get any better, fear not. It just did.
At the end of today’s Studio B, the ever-best Shep Smith rapped along to McMillan’s now-famous ‘The Rent Is Too Damn High’ song. “It’s the truest thing I’ve heard all day.” Just watch. When you have the luxury of not having to worry that the fringe candidates in your state might actually get elected they are much more enjoyable.
And below, Shep’s round up of last night’s “freak show'” debate. Also funny stuff (including Shep’s lament for the Yankees). Basically Andrew Cuomo may be the only candidate in the country who only has to keep from saying outrageous things to get votes.
