Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh was taken to the hospital yesterday after experiencing chest pains, but is now resting comfortably.

According to his website, Limbaugh is now resting in a Honolulu hospital after being admitted for medical treatment due to chest pains experienced earlier in the day.

The full statement on his website reads:

ALERT: Rush was admitted to a Honolulu hospital today and is resting comfortably after suffering chest pains. Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes. He will keep you updated via RushLimbaugh.com and on Thursday’s radio program.

The 58-year old Limbaugh was originally due to return from vacation to his show on January 4, and reportedly his chief of staff, Kit Larson, has no word yet on whether that will change.
