Republican Dale Peterson is running for Alabama Agricultural Commissioner. And he wants the people of his state to know how powerful that position is. Unfortunately, “thugs and criminals” who “don’t give a rip about Alabama” are keeping it quiet.
In his new ad, Peterson, his horse, and his rifle send a clear message to the state’s people: “I’ll name names and take no prisoners.”
Peterson describes himself as “a farmer, a businessman, a cop, a Marine during Vietnam” — and says that while his opponents are busy “stealing yard signs in the dark of night from my supporters,” Alabama is dealing with a score of problems, like “illegals” who “bust in by the thousands.”
He also rails against his opponent, Dorman Grace, asking, “Who on earth would support such a dummy?”
Watch:
The Department of Agriculture & Industries describes aims “to provide timely, fair and expert regulatory control over product, business entities, movement, and application of goods and services for which applicable state and federal law exists and strive to protect and provide service to Alabama consumers.”
Current Commissioner Ron Sparks (D) is running for Governor.
The primary will take place on June 1.
