The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that neighbors of Tiger Woods found him shoeless and snoring in the street after he crashed his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree last week.

In an interview with the Florida Highway Patrol, the neighbor, Jarius Lavar Adams, and his sister, Kimberly Harris, said they did not know how the golf superstar came to reach his post-crash resting place.

According to the Sentinel, Harris, who was visiting from Texas, said she was awoken by a “knocking sound” and saw the tail lights of a black truck though her bedroom window. She asked Adams to go outside, where he found Tiger Woods unconscious and snoring on the ground next to the passenger side of his 2009 Cadillac Escalade.

According to the Adams, the golfer’s wife begged for help. “She said, ‘Can you please help me? Can you please help me?'”

“I said ‘OK.’ I immediately just ran back to the house, got the phone, called 911, ran back out the house again to go back out there to see if she needed any assistance,” Adams said.

Woods’ accident occurred on November 27. On Tuesday, he was fined $164 for careless driving. He won’t be charged criminally.
