At the end of his 9 a.m. show today MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan apologized for yelling at Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz during a segment on health care Friday.

He said the incident was a disservice to viewers he will work on when his show moves to a new 4 p.m. time slot.

“What came out in the interview was my incredible frustration,” Ratigan said, reading a tweet from someone who called him very “rude.”

“I want to apologize to the Congresswoman and to our viewers for that,” he said. “I have some work to do.”

10 a.m. Host Contessa Brewer told Ratigan his remarks sounded like a New Year’s resolution.

On Friday Ratigan tweeted, “Will apologize for losing temper. Won’t apologize for challenging lies and misinformation. USA needs apology for destructive false solutions.”

He also responded to one of his nearly 6,000 followers, “My temper is a distraction. Govt . is again offering false reform, protecting those who bankroll them and nailing taxpayers.”
