House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took a brief reprieve from the government shutdown woes to weigh in on the arrest of longtime Donald Trump associate Roger Stone early Friday morning.

“It is very interesting to see the kinds of people that the President of the United States has surrounded himself with,” Pelosi said, connecting Stone’s arrest to ” the integrity of our elections.”

Pelosi also said she finds it “bothersome” to see Trump’s “connections to Russia” and “the President’s suggestions that we should question whether we should be in NATO, which is a dream come true for Vladimir Putin.”
