Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s (R) father is appearing in a radio ad for Danny Tarkanian, a candidate in the Republican Senate primary in Nevada.
Chuck Heath, Palin’s father, reportedly says in the ad, which will air across the state:
You supported my daughter Sarah Palin, now please join me in supporting another strong conservative – Danny Tarkanian. Danny Tarkanian is strongly pro-life, and he will protect our Second Amendment rights. He will fight to cut taxes, slash spending, and end budget-busting pork barrel politics.
If he wins the primary, Tarkanian, who is the son of legendary college basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, will likely face Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) in November.
