Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-NV) plans to go around his state’s attorney general and join more than a dozen other states in suing the federal government over health care reform, according to local news reports.

Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto had balked over suing the feds. Now Gibbons reportedly plans to get around a state law preventing him from paying a different lawyer to sue by using a group of attorneys offering their services for free.

A full announcement is expected Tuesday.
