WASHINGTON (AP) — Michelle Obama didn’t like Brussels sprouts and liver as a kid, and says any day the organ meat showed up on her plate was a “dark day” at her house.

Her current favorite workout song is “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. She says it is “just such a happy song … it literally makes you happy.”

On the subject of exercise, Mrs. Obama says daughters Malia and Sasha get plenty of exercise at school and after school so they don’t join her daily workouts.

Mrs. Obama commented during an interview with Rachael Ray that’s to air Wednesday. The program released excerpts early.

Ray was at the White House last week as the first lady unveiled new food labels. They made sweet potato soup in the White House kitchen.
