Jon Stewart had his old pal Bill O’Reilly on The Daily Show Wednesday to talk taxes and $16 muffins.

Stewart, who had a bit of fun at O’Reilly’s threat to quit his show if taxes become out of control, asked O’Reilly what is behind conservatives crying “class warfare” over President Obama’s deficit reduction plan.

“What is this whole business with the poor, poor rich and wealthy in this country?” Stewart asked. “So unfair to them.”

There comes a point where taxation simply becomes too much, O’Reilly responded. “Are you ever gonna wise up?” he asked Stewart.

“Teach me, professor,” Stewart said.

O’Reilly used the Department of Justice allegedly purchasing $16 muffins as an example of government waste.

“What neighborhood do you live in?” Stewart joked.

Stewart and O’Reilly went on to debate the U.S. government’s investment in the now-defunct Solyndra, where the government could trim spending and even snuck in a few words about O’Reilly new book.
