Governor Bobby Jindal (R-LA) condemned the alleged botched phone tampering plot at Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) office, calling the incident “not acceptable.”
According to Bill Barrow of the Times-Picayune, Jindal broke his silence on the incident and said that he hopes the law enforcement system will “punish those actions.
“That office represents the United States senator who was elected by the people of Louisiana. I don’t care what your politics are,” he said. “We need to respect the law.”
