1|| If you’re going to reveal a quarter of a million diplomatic cables that one of the most powerful governments in the world doesn’t want you to reveal, you’re gonna need secure servers. Bahnhof AB, a firm that offers hosting on its servers, is housed in a former bomb bunker drilled into the White Mountains of Sweden.

Wikileaks was hosted by Bahnhof when it began publishing the cables. When Wikileaks was felled by a denial of service attack, it briefly moved to Amazon’s cloud servers before it got booted off. Now, it’s back on Bahnhof and back in the mountains.
