Hawaii Gov Makes It Official: This State's Ignoring Persistent Birthers

According to the AP, the state's Health Department gets between 10 and 20 e-mails a week seeking proof of Obama's birth. State agencies can now ignore requests they deem to be repeated or duplicitous.

Hawaii isn't the only state to respond to the birther movement. Arizona lawmakers have considered a bill to require all presidential candidates to submit documentation proving their eligibility to hold the office.
