Sorry, potential employers: Chip Saltsman, distributor of those “Barack, The Magic Negro” CDs, is no longer on the market.

Lt. Governor Andre Bauer (R-SC) has hired him as his new political consultant.

Saltsman withdrew from the race for RNC Chair after the CD, a spoof of “Puff, the Magic Dragon” by frequent Rush Limbaugh Show contributor Paul Shanklin, generated some controversy.

Bauer, for his part, recently came under fire for comparing poor people to “stray animals.”
