If you like steak but wish it were more conservative, then Tea Partier and 50s crooner Pat Boone has a new line of mail order meats that you should probably take a look at.

Boone, who was last seen launching the Beverly Hills Tea Party in September, is once again taking his brand of conservatism to unexpected places. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Boone has partnered with Oklahoma businessman J.W. Roth to launch “Pat Boone All-American Meats,” with the motto “a taste of what makes us great.”

The site offers 100% all-American raised meat, with Filet Mignon, Ribeye Steak, New York Strip, Top Sirloin, and T-Bone and Porterhouse cuts. Prices range from $40 for four 8 oz. Top Sirloin steaks to $80 for four 6 oz. Filet Mignons, $45 for two 18 oz. T-Bone steaks, and so on.

According to the site, 5% of the proceeds will go to Christian conservative organizations that “help feed and sustain those in need.” Half of the royalties will go to Mercy Corps, a group that Boone started with members of the Christian community to combat world hunger. According to the Sun-Times, “the business also will partner with other groups, including Focus on the Family and the Parents Television Council” and “expects to appeal to Christian, conservative women over age 55.”

You also have the option of joining the site’s “Pat Boone All-American Steak Brigade” community, because “if you love a great-tasting steak hot off the grill, you’re not alone. You’re part of an extended community of steak lovers.”

“I’ve been known as the Milkman for forty years,” Boone said. “Now, I’ll probably be known as the Meatman.”
