With the stock market in tumult the past week, people are trying to make sense of things, Stephen Colbert said Wednesday night. Luckily, the New York Post explained it all with its cover: “Crazy stox like a hooker’s drawers… UP, DOWN, UP.”
“This is analysis everyone can understand,” Colbert said. And he’s looking forward to the paper’s following covers to explain the world’s news: “London like a hooker’s genitals… BURNING!” or “Somali refugees like a hooker’s libido… ALWAYS HUNGRY! and, finally, “New York Post front page like hooker… WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY!”
