House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) appeared on several radio shows today, granting interviews to Scott Hennen, Laura Ingraham, and Lars Larson. No matter where he went, however, Boehner delivered the same message: The GOP might win the battle in tomorrow’s special election in Massachusetts, but the war over health care reform isn’t over yet.

“[R]egardless of what happens Tuesday the American people can still stop this bill. I’ve contributed to Scott Brown, I want him to win, I think he can win – but beyond that, the American people need to stay engaged in this process because this bill is nowhere close to being finished. There are a number of unresolved issues, a lot of fights amongst Democrats, and we can continue to put pressure on them – we can exploit those differences – and bring this bill down.”

Boehner also said that the Democrats, who have been feverishly developing a ‘Plan B’ for passing reform in the event of a Brown victory, “would use every trick imaginable” to pass a health care bill.
