On Hannity Tuesday night, Ann Coulter accused the Obama Administration of letting Julian Assange and WikiLeaks expose turn Barack Obama into Jimmy Carter-a dithering, powerless leader trapped in the White House and absolutely incapable of doing anything to defend or advance the affairs of the country.

Assange may be wanted by Interpol, but Coulter’s convinced the U.S. won’t do anything to “get this guy.”

“Democrats are in the White House, so America is standing tall as usual. We’re a helpless, pitiful giant. That’s the way America stands when a Democrat is in the White House, because they will not do anything…this guy is harming national security…every single American citizen, and Eric Holder treats them like the Black Panthers.”

Credit to Coulter: it’s not easy to work a Black Panther reference into a WikiLeaks discussion. But she’s at the top of her game. She also goes on to tie PFC Bradley Manning-a suspect in the leaking of Pentagon documents to WikiLeaks-to the reignited debate over Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
Truly a bravura performance.
Hannity, meanwhile, summarizes the Obama Administration’s approach to WikiLeaks-and all of its national and foreign policy this way:

“Seems to be taking on the air of like the Carter Administration. Incompetent, failure, weakness. Incapable of accomplishing anything of any significance in economic policy or foreign policy.”
“It’s very, very bad for all Americans,” says Coulter.
