Scotland Yard made its thirteenth arrest related to the News Of The World phone hacking scandal, this time taking award-winning Hollywood reporter James Desborough into custody on Thursday.

Desborough was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications. He went to a London police station by appointment Thursday morning to answer questions about possible criminal activities at the paper.

He was hired by the tabloid in 2005, and served as the tabloid’s Los Angeles-based editor from April 2009 until the paper closed last month. Desborough’s arrest could raise questions about what tactics he practiced while working in the United States, and to what extent.

Earlier in 2009 Desborough won the British Press Award for showbiz reporter of the year, The Guardian reports, and was praised as someone whose “uncompromising scoops which mean no celebrity with secrets can sleep easy.”
