As The Tennessean reports, Emerson's tax-exempt, nonprofit charity Investigative Project on Terrorism Foundation gave almost all of its income to Emerson's for-profit endeavor, SAE Productions. In 2008, the charity gave SAE $3.4 million.
By doing so, the charity doesn't pay any salaries directly, and therefore, doesn't list its employees. And because SAE is a privately held company, it doesn't have to disclose details, either.
Emerson is one of a group of people who believe that Muslims are conducting a "stealth jihad" in America, and that 80 percent of American mosques are lead by clerics who want to impose Sharia, or Islamic, law over the Constitution.
The whole piece is worth a read.
