Five of the U.S. attorneys fired in the Bush Administration purge in 2006 gathered for a panel discussion this week at Arizona State University College of Law to talk about the firings and the line between policy and politics.

Rarely, if ever, have so many of the fired U.S. attorneys gathered in one place for a public discussion.

They are: Paul Charlton of Arizona, Bud Cummins of the Eastern District of Arkansas, David Iglesias of New Mexico, Carol Lam of the Southern District of California, and John McKay of the Western District of Washington.
