Former GOP Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell is under investigation for paying her rent with campaign funds. Now she’s made the very same home the headquarters of her newly established political action committee, ChristinePAC.

Since she’s no longer a federal candidate, there’s nothing illegal about using her Delaware home as ChristinePAC HQ. But the optics aren’t great, as the Sunlight Foundation points out.

O’Donnell first announced the PAC last month, saying its purpose “is not getting behind individual candidates but more so issues. I talked about repealing the death tax but also Obamacare.”

Paul Kilgore is listed as treasurer on the paperwork filed with the Federal Elections Commission, which calls ChristinePAC a “Super PAC” — meaning it is able to accept unlimited amounts of money from unlimited sources, thanks to recent federal court rulings.
