Here’s the logical (read: nuts) conclusion to the fast-growing Poor-Ted-Stevens movement:

The Alaska Republican Party further believes that current Senator Mark Begich should resign his position to allow for a new, special election, so Alaskans may have the chance to vote for a Senator without the improper influence of the corrupt Department of Justice.
The only reason Mark Begich won the election in November is because a few thousand Alaskans thought that Senator Ted Stevens was guilty of seven felonies. Senator Stevens has maintained his innocence and now, even the Department of Justice acknowedges it’s [sic] wrong doing.
Let’s see what Begich’s response is…

It’s also worth taking a moment to understand something about the Alaska GOP.
On one page of its website, it links to outside articles it finds interesting. One of the stories it links to, posted on the website GoArticles.com, is a positive writeup of a film called “The Obama Deception.” Here’s how the article approvingly describes the film:
The central theme of the movie “The Obama Deception” is that the Obama phenomenon is a carefully crafted hoax by the highest levels of his administration, which is infested with members of a shadowy, elitist international cabal known as the Bilderberg group; a group of grandees of the New World Order intent on installing a one-world government. In it, Obama is characterized as the “puppet” and “frontman” for the group whose real aim is to con the American people, and indeed the world, into accepting global slavery.
Interestingly unprovable theory so far.
So this is the fringiest of the fringe.
