WSJ: Civil Charges Planned Against S&P Over Financial Crisis

Federal and state prosecutors are planning to file civil charges against Standard & Poor’s as soon as this week over the agency’s ratings of mortgage bonds before the 2008 financial crisis, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
