After initially reporting that authorities found five additional undetonated devices in Boston, the Wall Street Journal now says officials doubt they were indeed bombs:

Two people briefed on the investigation said officials initially believed that the five additional devices could be undetonated explosives. Later Monday, a law-enforcement official said subsequent closer examinations led investigators to doubt that they were bombs.

Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis could not confirm whether any additional devices were found, but he added that officials are still investigating.

“There are no further devices that we’ve located at this point in time, but we are getting reports from various places about suspicious packages,” he said at a news conference in Boston. “That’s perfectly understandable in this situation. I’m not prepared to say that we are at ease at this point in time. We are still very actively pursuing every lead that we have.”
