White House press secretary Jay Carney on Monday will host the daily press briefing. Carney is expected to be asked about the scandal involving the Interal Revenue Service’s improper targeting of conservative groups, the Department of Justice’s seizure of Associated Press phone records and the ongoing investigation into last year’s deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya. The briefing is expected to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.
