White House: “It’s Certainly Possible” Obama Will Address Conn. Shootings

At the White House press briefing Friday, Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters President Obama may publicly address the school shooting in Connecticut Friday. 

“It is certainly possible that the president will have something to say,” Carney said as reports of the shooting were still coming in. Carney declined to discuss gun control as news came in, saying “today is not that day.”
