United First U.S. Airline To Offer Overseas WiFi

United announced Tuesday it would be the first U.S. airline to offer travelers a “constant connection” to WiFi throughout overseas flights via satellite connections from Panasonic, with “standard” speed service starting at $3.99 and “accelerated” service starting $5.99, both rates increasing depending on the duration of the flight, as Engadget reported.
