Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush would “under no circumstances” accept the job of vice president even if it were offered, Bush said Thursday on CBS “This Morning.” “I’m not gonna do it and I’m not gonna be asked and it’s not gonna happen,” he said.
Bush did muse about his decision not to run in 2012 and left the door open for a run in 2016. Bush called 2012 “probably my time,” but also noted that he might not have made the cut this year. “I don’t know, given what I believe and how I believe it, I’m not sure I would have been successful as a candidate, either.”
