UN Political Chief: ‘Well Over’ 7,500 People Have Died In Syria Violence

The United Nations’ political chief B. Lynn Pascoe says “well over” 7,500 people have died in Syria’s violence. Reuters reports that Tunisia has offered Syrian Pressident Bashar al-Assad political asylum if it would help end the nearly year-old crackdown.
