UN Assembly Condemns Security Council For Failure To End Bloodshed In Syria

The United Nations General Assembly on Friday voted to condemn the body’s Security Council for failing to end the violent unrest in Syria. The BBC reports:

It passed a non-binding resolution, which also condemns the Syrian government’s use of heavy weapons, by 133 votes to 12 with 31 abstentions.
