UK Rejects Assange Appeal To Reopen Case

The British Supreme Court on Thursday rejected Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s attempts to reopen his case. The rejection brings Assange one step closer to facing extradition to Sweden, which the court recommended, to face sex crimes allegations.

As the AP writes, “Assange can still apply to the European Court of Human Rights, but legal experts say he stands little chance there.”
