Twitter’s main desktop website was inaccessible for many users, including this reporter on Thursday morning, with the classic “fail whale” reappearing. Meanwhile, Twitter’s official client Tweetdeck also showed only some tweets and blank columns. At around 10:30 a.m. EST, the company confirmed a “site issue,” on its official status blog on Tumblr. As Twitter wrote:

“Some users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.”
