During an interview on CNN Wednesday night, host Anderson Cooper quizzed Donald Trump on whether his Trump Steaks business still exists after the Republican presidential candidate brought steaks to a Tuesday night press conference in an attempt to defend his business ventures from Mitt Romney’s criticism.

Throughout the interview, Trump avoided acknowledging that he no longer sells Trump Steaks online through the Sharper Image and instead insisted that he still sells steaks.

“The steaks you showed, those aren’t actually Trump Steaks, right?” Cooper asked Trump.

“No, I buy them,” Trump responded. “I’m not gonna kill the cow.”

The CNN host then attempted to clarify whether Trump Steaks still exist, prompting Trump to note that he sells steaks at his hotels.

“Trump steaks, we sell the steaks through my clubs. I have many clubs and hotels,” Trump said.

Cooper asked Trump whether the steaks are still available to the public.

“No, no. It’s the same thing. It’s an offshoot of it,” Trump replied. “We do a tremendous steak business.”

And when asked where he buys his steaks, Trump said, “We buy a lot of steaks from different places.”
