Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that it was for other people to decide whether former President George W. Bush’s decision to go to Iraq was an impeachable offense.

Trump was asked during an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” to clarify comments he made at the GOP debate the night before when he questioned whether there was enough to impeach Bush after his decision on Iraq.

“Well, that’s for other people to say. And look, that is for other people to say,” Trump responded. “I can say this, it may not have been impeachable because it was a mistake. I think it was a mistake. But it was a horrible mistake. Number one, there were no weapons of mass destruction. So, you know, did they know there weren’t or not? That would tell you something right there.”
