Tornado Outbreak Reported In Alabama

Two tornadoes reportedly touched down in Alabama on Friday. CNN reports that at least 17,000 customers were without power near Huntsville, Alabama. The Limestone Correctional Facility in east Limestone County reportedly took a “direct hit” from a possible tornado, the Huntsville Times reports

The NOAA image above shows a 30 percent chance of a tornado within 25 miles of any point in the purple area. According to the latest reports, there is no word yet on injuries from the storms.
