From Benghazi to the Affordable Care Act, the Obama administration just can’t stop “lying,” according to one of the top Republicans in the Senate.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) levied the damning charge during a Google “hangout” session on Monday.

“I think the current administration has taken lying to a new level,” the second-ranked Republican in the Senate said, according to CNN

“Since the terrible tragedy that took four American lives in Benghazi, we’ve had difficulty, to put it mildly, trying to get to the bottom of this,” Cornyn continued. ““Now the goal is to talk to the Benghazi survivors – people who were actually there who could tell the truth and expose what happened and hold the people responsible accountable.  This has been a cover up from the very beginning.”

Throughout Obamacare’s troubled rollout, Cornyn said the administration has demonstrated a “lack of accountability and the willingness to mislead people or provide them just demonstrably false information and expect to be able to move on.”

Cornyn was also dismissive on Monday of some of the improvements made to the health care law’s online federal exchange, expressing skepticism on Twitter.

“So Obamacare is fixed now that the website has been improved?” Cornyn tweeted. “Not on your life.”

Correction: The headline has been updated to show that Cornyn is the No. 2 Republican in the Senate.
