Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was still answering questions about his contentious heeled boots on Thursday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”
Rubio said while he still wears the zipper boots, which he said caused people to lose their minds, have been mostly retired as he hits the campaign trail.
“I need a back-up pair. I need one in Iowa and one in New Hampshire,” the presidential candidate told host Jimmy Fallon.
“I only wear ’em on weekends, nights mostly,” Rubio added.
