Tommy Thompson embraces fellow Wisconsinite Paul Ryan in a new radio ad released one day before the hotly contested Wisconsin Senate primary.
The ad includes a clip of Ryan praising Thompson during a weekend rally: “Tommy Thompson — welfare reform, getting people off of welfare, back to work into lives of dignity, personal responsibility, on to a life of hitting their potential.”
The announcer says: “Tommy is the conservative we can count on to defeat [Democrat Tammy] Baldwin, help win Wisconsin for the Romney-Ryan ticket, and take control of the Senate from Harry Reid. Vote Tommy Thompson — the 51st vote to repeal Obamacare, and pass Paul Ryan’s Pathways to Prosperity plan.”
