Todd Bosnich, the former staffer for California Republican Carl DeMaio’s 2014 congressional campaign who accused the candidate of sexually harassing him, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother.

San Diego police said that the staffer, Todd Bosnich, had been processed in San Diego Central Jail on Tuesday in response to the alleged Nov. 7 incident, according to NBC San Diego.

Bosnich, according to the San Diego Police Department, got into an argument with his mother. He allegedly pushed her, threw a drinking glass at her, and also disabled her phone in the process.

Bosnich was booked on Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and disabling a telephone.

Bosnich is the former DeMaio staffer who has accused DeMaio (pictured) of sexual harassment multiple times. DeMaio narrowly lost in his bid to unseat Rep. Scott Peters (D-CA).
