Vice President Biden’s gun violence taskforce will host a slew of gun rights advocates Thursday, pulling groups like the National Rifle Association into the conversation about how to prevent future shootings like the one at the Newtown, Conn. elementary school last month. Biden will also meet with representatives from the entertainment industry. Critics have said cultural influences like violent videogames and movies contribute to gun violence in America.
In addition to those meetings, Attorney General Eric Holder will host firearms retailers at the Justice Department on Thursday.
