Leaders attending a Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) meeting in Cambodia urged the international community to move quickly for a complete normalization of relations with Myanmar. ASEAN’s Secretary General, Surin Pitsuwan argued that Sunday’s vote should lead to the “reintegration of Myanmar into the global community.”
