Former President George H.W. Bush was given a surprise performance earlier this month during a visit to Texas A&M when students there broke into a flash mob.

Accompanied by his wife Barabara and his granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager, the 41st president was posing for a photo op at the Bush School of Government and Public Service when a stereo began playing “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” by Brooks & Dunn.

Students then began performing a spontaneous but choreographed line dance as a clearly perplexed Bush watched. “That’s a flash mob, grandpa,” Bush Hager can be heard saying at the end of the performance.

Bush was visiting the school that bears his name on March 1, but the video was made public on Tuesday.
