Law enforcement authorities have determined that the gun used to kill Colorado Department of Corrections chief Tom Clements last Tuesday was the same one used by Evan Ebel two days later in a shoot-out with Texas sheriff’s deputies, KKTV reports.
Ebel, 28, died later from wounds sustained during the gun battle.
According to KKTV, the gun match was confirmed after an analysis by the Colorado Springs Metro Crime Lab. KKTV adds that investigators are still trying to determine if Ebel acted alone.
